Main Features
Customizable Submission Forms
Easy creation and customization of calls for submission. Lead editors can designate certain editors to manage the press's calls. Those editors can modify individual calls to accept multiple authors and multiple titles, to set limits of word counts, and more.
Streamlined Workflows
Clear workflows for processing submissions and making editorial decisions. New submissions can be claimed by first readers, who can read, reject, or recommend them as they see fit. Recommendations can then be routed to other designated readers.
Reading Hierarchies
Global reading hierarchies of either first reader/final reader or first reader/second reader/final reader. Lead editors can flexibly adjust global settings for various workflow structures to process submissions and make editorial decisions.
Reader Permissions
Customizable permissions for each reader to further customize workflows and hierarchies. Lead editors can set these permissions in a range from read only, through reject and recommend, to the full power to modify, delete, and accept submissions.
Email Customization
Customizable emails for crafting holds, rejections, and acceptances based on the needs of the publication.
Landing Pages
Customizable landing page at pressname.acolyte.media. Each press has a landing page that link to the press's main website, offers a brief overview of the publication, and displays open and upcoming calls for submission.
